
Ruel R. Billones, PhD
Ruel R. Billones holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and an EdD in Counseling. His research interest focuses on trauma treatment for Asian transwomen who engage in risky behaviors, particularly those involving HIV due to chemsex. He completed his post-doctoral work in health psychology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He is an adjunct faculty member of Psychology at the Ateneo de Davao University in the Philippines and a mental health provider at the Psychology and Trauma Recovery Services (PsyARTS) at Springfield Hospital Center in Maryland, USA.

Samuel H. Aquino Jr. has a PhD major in Clinical Psychology and a master’s degree with a double major on Clinical Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His research interest is on HAART transitions among PLHIV, mindfulness for older adult depression, emotional labor, and indigenization & contextualization of psychotherapy. He is an Associate Professor of the Ateneo de Davao University and a Psychotherapist at Olive Branch Wellbeing Center & SkinnerBox Psychological Services in the Philippines

Marie Joyce Victolero-Tupas, PhD is a registered nurse and a licensed psychologist. She is an Associate Professor at Ateneo de Davao University, where she also serves as the Director of the Center of Psychological Extension and Research Services (COPERS), the Psychology Department’s extension office for assessments and community outreach programs. Aside from teaching, she maintains a private practice at Olive Branch Wellbeing Center. Her work and research focus on Health Psychology, Play Therapy, and Child Psychology in Davao City, Philippines.
