Gloria Aidoo-Frimpong, PhD, MPH, MA

Gloria Aidoo-Frimpong, PhD, MPH, MA, is a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University's Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS (CIRA) through the NIH-supported Yale AIDS Prevention Training Program (Y-APT). With a Ph.D. in Community Health and Health Behavior from the University at Buffalo, along with master's degrees in international studies and public health from Ohio University, her research centers on reducing HIV-related health disparities among gender, racial and ethnic minority immigrant populations. She explores sociocontextual factors influencing HIV prevention behaviors, seeking innovative approaches to engage immigrant communities through community involvement, technology, and collaboration.

Prince Asante Boateng

Boateng is a registered nurse from Ghana with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (First Class Honours) from the University of Cape Coast. He currently leads the Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) Unit at Bibiani Municipal Hospital, where he provides comprehensive HIV care, including adherence support and linkage to treatment. Prince has worked on USAID-supported HIV programs focused on testing, PrEP delivery, and community engagement for key populations.His research interests center on the intersection of HIV and non-communicable diseases (NCDs), particularly hypertension. He is passionate about designing and evaluating nurse-led and mobile health (mHealth) interventions to enhance integrated HIV–hypertension management in primary healthcare settings. Additionally, his work explores the use of mHealth innovations to improve PrEP uptake and HIV self-testing among vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations.
